My, how time flies

It has been pointed out to me that my last blog was in February. Shocking.

I need to update and to make clear what is happening at this end.
First of all, to those good souls who do visit the blog, thank you for your loyalty, curiosity or whatever.... but I suppose you will have detected what is going on by my comments over the months.
The parents are ok, but getting older, of course!  Father can see less and less, mother sweet but totally dependent.
Meanwhile we have been building our Polish house like crazy and it is liveable.  More than liveable.
Is 100km north of Krakow, called Stopnica. A small town with a fascinating history.
 Now comes the transition stage.
Transition can most easily be done with light luggage, so to that end I decided to close the studio. Trying to launch a business (great idea, great product, sure, but how to sell it?) on top of everything else, is not going to work. Unless I give up sleeping.

So I bit the bullet and did it. I cleared the studio (ouch).
The house has to be renovated completely (5 beds) and cannot be done with 2 oldies and us in residence, of course.
But we CAN start clearing stuff, sorting and, as I write I am accompanied by the tuneful rhythm of Stefan's hammer knocking off the bathroom tiles to get at the damp below. We can work in areas that we can get too without too much general upset. So at least we are making a start.

By the way, I had a knee replacement very recently, so I was out of the pic for that, too. Been home 5 days, and doing fine.

So, we will be moving over, in chunks. 6 weeks in July, then again, and so on. More and more time spent away, doing what we need to do (before the other knee goes [haha]). I am organising home care so the aged ps will be taken care of.

That is it up to now.....   Is a new life; LOADS to learn, language, people to meet etc etc. A lifetime. Terribly exciting.

Wish me luck and please write to me if you feel the urge, anytime.
Best, f
