Simplifying my life

The fact is it has all got a bit too much.
Every time I went into the studio the feelings were so mixed, and mostly not good.  Bad conscience, though what about I don't know. I did nothing wrong.
However, with all I have on my plate, building a business was not fitting in.
To turn to making a business in jewellery, at this stage (69 soon!), without massive funds for marketing, and time to wait for it to catch on (could be YEARS) is just not going to work.  I am sure it would work though, given time, enough people really are taken with the work; I know it's a good product.
I have closed the studio, and feel very relieved.
But I am still going to teach. Plans are on for West Dean, they are scheduling right now, and there is a first weekend being planned for July at Morley College, London.
I have my kit, and I can carry on any time.
Life goes on, care for the parents is gradually taking more from us. They are very frail, though trying to do what they can for themselves. For mother this is precious little, as dementia has well and truly kicked in. But she is kindly and thoughtful and aware of what is going on. And grateful for everything.  Nice. Father does what he can but terribly dizzy all the time, and losing his sight etc etc.   Horrid for them.
Busy otherwise with projects as and when.
I will not write too much now as the blog should be about work, and I am not doing any.
Do contact me if you have read this far, to keep in touch.
Cheers, f
